Mayfield keeps the energy high and allows Lawrence to mug enjoyably as the rest of the cast looks on. Featuring Luke Wilson, that supporting cast is solid, and it navigates the film's comedy with a fair amount of skill. "Blue Streak" never stands out, but it provides enough appeal to rate as an, at least, mid-level comedy outing.
